Leeds Council Sacks EDL Strategist

A key strategist named Chris Knowles working within the English Defence League (EDL) has been sacked from his job, working as part of the school governor support team at the Leeds Council children’s services department.

He is a registered director of the “Centre for Vigilant Freedom”, a well funded US-based organisation that operates as the International Civil Liberties Alliance (ICLA). This group was started with the intention to spread anti-Muslim hatred on an international level.
