EDL Leader Tommy Robinson Arrested For Fraud

The English Defence League (EDL) leader Tommy Robinson has been charged with mortgage fraud. So on top of being an anti-Muslim bigot and all-around Islamophobe, he’s also a suspected criminal who loves committing fraud through the tactic of false representation.

He was among six people to be charged following a fraud investigation by the Bedfordshire police force and face charges including fraud, money-laundering and possession of drugs with intent to supply.

Tommy Robinson is accused of three counts of conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation in relation to a mortgage application.

These charges are separate from the investigation relating to his prosecution for illegally entering the U.S. to attend Islamophobes Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer’s SION conference in New York in September 2012.
