EDL ‘Founding Father’ May Have Inspired Breivik

Paul Ray, supposedly one of the ‘founding fathers’ of the English Defence League (EDL) who uses the nickname ‘Lionheart of England’, has denounced the actions of the Norway bomber, Anders Breivik, but has admitted his anti-Muslim views could have influenced the killer.

He told the Times,
Quote: ‘I am being implicated as his (Breivik’s) mentor. I definitely could have been his inspiration. It looks like that.’
In his manifesto, Breivik describes attending a meeting of the extremist group Knights Templar in London in 2002, where he was given an ‘assigned mentor’ nicknamed ‘Richard (the Lionhearted)’.
