A: We are a group of working-class people who are exposing the EDL and its affiliates for what it is and what it stands for. We do not tolerate discrimination, and irrational fear mongering. We want the best for Britain and the best for our diverse communities.
Q: Are you part of United Against Fascism (UAF)?
A: We oppose fascism of all forms, but we try not to side with other parties. Parties that do oppose fascism and the right-wing deserve respect for what they do nevertheless.
Q: So why are you sympathetic to them?
A: We’re not sympathetic in any way. The only link we will make in our work is using or citing sources from anti-fascist parties who have useful information.
Q: If you cared for this country, you would support the EDL
A: We care for this country as much as anyone else. We want to live in a country that coexists with all types of people. Supporting the EDL doesn’t make you any more British than anyone else.
But why should we support the EDL? The EDL has a track record for violence, discrimination and a habit of wasting taxpayer money. Hence, we would urge everyone to care for the well being of this country and not join the EDL or similar far-right parties.
Q: It's not Islamophobic to tell the truth
What exactly do you define as ‘truth’? One thing is for sure: There is no truth in shouting discriminatory remarks at innocent people, and neither is it truthful to criticize a person merely for believing in what they believe in. The remarks normally given at EDL protests are hurtful and outright disrespectful. An example would be the chant of “Allah is a paedo”.
Constructive criticism is fair game, but irrational fear mongering and bias discrimination is not.
Q: Islam is taking over our way of life though
A: We know there are many videos online trying to convince us that Europe is being taken over by Islam, but research indicates it’s just a case of fear-mongering. You must also question, why these videos never have any authentic citations or sources as proof.
As we’ve explained before, it is practically an impossibility of Sharia law replacing the law of this land. Also, a study by the Pew Research Centre On Religion and Public Life demonstrates that the fear of a Muslim takeover is largely the product of hysteria. Various Islamophobes, missionaries and far-right groups such as the EDL have helped propagate this irrational hysteria to draw people into their agenda.

A: In no way do we tolerate extremism. We must unite and work with others to ensure extremism is tackled. It's shameful that the EDL tries to tackle this but hasn't really done anything.
The BBC even reported that the EDL is helping feed extremism. Looking at various supporters of the EDL sympathising with terrorists, shouting death threats on public transport, threatening to burn mosques, having neo-Nazi links... it's no surprise and this shows us how dangerous the EDL can be. The Norway bomber Anders Breivik even had EDL links.

A: Of course we do, but we are also very critical of what the EDL and other far-right parties choose to hide from the public too. What about the British child groomers of white background who have recently been caught? The EDL have been silent upon the subject, but this needs to be addressed too. If it isn’t, then people are being ignorant to the fact that these groomers come in all shapes and forms.
It is not a ‘Muslim’ problem, and our findings of British white paedophiles proves it. Adultery and pre-marital intercourse, like in Christianity and Judaism, is a sin. Only the uneducated thinkers and Islamophobes are trying to make it out like religion plays a deep role in it, when it has little or no relevance.
We must bridge divides and work with everyone to ensure these types of crimes are not committed. We need to spread education, not intolerance.
Q: But the EDL have made clear that it does not tolerate all kinds of paedophiles
A: True (in a few cases). But the amount of EDL activity upon hearing about these Asian ‘Muslim’ child groomers is significantly different from the EDL’s activity upon hearing about British white child groomers. The EDL has even constructed protests just for these Asian groomers, and not in protest for the British white background groomers (like we found).
The EDL has not only been mentally silent upon the issue but physically silent too.
EDL members even tried to campaign for a convicted paedophile. |

Q: Why don’t you like the EDL?
A: The EDL ceases to do good for our society, our economy, and our country. It is a fascist party that has gave rise to discrimination, intolerance and hatred amongst our communities.
The activities of the EDL compromise of mostly protesting on the streets, but these protests have cost the taxpayer millions of pounds and haven't achieved anything. The EDL has also been working backwards. It fails to work with everyone and merely targets groups of people for its agenda. Without a doubt, the EDL has (and is) making things worse for Britain.

Q: Why should we believe anything you write on here? And how do we know that the pictures you show are not photoshopped?
A: People can make a distinction between what we represent as facts and opinions. Nevertheless, the information we provide is backed up with real evidence, and appropriate citations are also given to the appropriate news agencies and police officials who also happen to report on something (i.e. the number of protest arrests). Our blog is backed up with sufficient evidence. If you hover over news agency names, they will usually link to the source. Inbound and outbound sources are also available in the 'Further reading' sections.
In regards to photos... all our photos are real. We also link to/credit the photos we get to the original authors so we again, cite material. Screenshots are taken to ensure we provide evidence (also to ensure things aren't taken down). If any of these were fake, you would notice unusual edits. But of course, we use real photos and we take pride in the evidence we share.
