EDL Humiliated At Walthamstow

Let’s face it, the English Defence League (EDL) were not wanted at Walthamstow, London. But they came anyway, and were humiliated by the local community.

The numbers first of all, were horrific. The EDL had approximately 200, but the anti-EDL opposition (the community, parties, groups) had more than 1000 people involved. What better way to rub it in and chant:
Quote: ‘There are many many many more of us than you’
The EDL’s march route was blocked, so they had to go through the back streets. The police then kettled them for several hours and refused to let them drink booze or use the toilet. They also started mass arresting them. Many of them missed their trains and coaches, so the day was a living hell for most.

Supposedly, a few EDL supporters got a chance to listen to the EDL leader Tommy Robinson and Kevin Carroll’s speech. But realising there was hardly support there, with the opposition also on-site, the key figures were forced to abandon it.

Many EDL supporters have admitted the event was a shambles and the EDL is now a laughing stock.

Know Surrender. This is the beginning of an end.
