We’ve seen many examples of dangerous influence within many parts of the far-right. And here’s another example from the oversees splinter group of the English Defence League (EDL).
The Australian Defence League Soldiers group, is urging its supporters to make their own weapons.
Countless far-right supporters and members have been arrested and caught for possessing arms and many have even used dangerous home-made weapons upon the innocent. One example from the far-right is that of Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik, who killed more than 60 innocent people in 22 July 2011.

EDL Has ‘Potential’ To Stoke Radicalisation
Last month, a minister warned that far-right movements like the English Defence League (EDL) have the potential to inspire individuals to break off and join more extreme groups.
Delivering a speech at a conference on far-right extremism, security minister James Brokenshire said that the rise of movements such as the EDL was a “worrying phenomenon”, Bolton News reported.
He warned that the EDL and others have the potential to “stoke radicalisation” and could ultimately cross the line into an area that concerns counter-terrorism strategy.
The minister also revealed that more than 2,000 websites had been shut down since 2010 for breaching UK terror laws by the Counter-terrorism Internet Referral Unit.
Mr Brokenshire hit out at groups such as the EDL for “inflaming tensions and spreading hate-filled prejudice within communities.”
His speech came as a King’s College London report claimed the EDL was exploiting concerns surrounding grooming gangs to fuel its anti-Islam agenda, focussing less on those who aren’t necessarily ‘Muslim’ or ‘Asian’ (examples here).
The far-right group is using recent cases, such as the nine Asian men jailed last year for grooming girls in Rochdale, to build support and is building a far-right network with countries across Europe, according to the university’s International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation.

Pamela Geller Sticks Up For Breivik-Supporter?
The fact that some English Defence League (EDL) members don’t want Zionists and extremists tarnishing the group’s image is a good one. But notorious blogger Pamela Geller known for her activity in the Islamophobia network seems to disagree. She says:
It shows some EDL supporters wanting Roberta Moore kicked out of the EDL, a women who has also sympathized with the Norway bomber Anders Breivik.
Is Geller sticking up for her fellow Zionists?
Further reading:
Quote: ‘This campaign to gang up on Geller by small “counter-jihadists” trying to make a name for themselves clearly is motivated by something entirely different. Something very ugly and transparent.’But as you can see, the image below was provided in the article by the Atlasshrugs and JihadWatch websites showing this ‘ugly’ and ‘transparent’ campaign.

The National Front's Breivik And KKK-Supporter
It is revealed that a personal trainer, and a keen supporter of the National Front (NF) and the Infidels Of Britain is also a supporter of the Norway bomber Anders Breivik and also a self styled Ku Klux Klan (KKK) member!
He makes Nazi salutes, wears KKK gear, and he (and friends) even wanted to bully the girl who was beaten by her Welsh Defence League-supporting parents for dating a man of black background (we covered it here).
Just as things can't get any worse, he expresses support for the Norwegian bomber and in this image (among many more), he sympathises with his actions.
More pictures and proof can be found in the ‘Further reading’ section.

EDL Supporter Arrested For Praising Breivik
We reported about a dad-of-three Philip Horn in a previous article (here) who supported the English Defence League (EDL) and British National Party (BNP), and sympathised with the Norway bomber, Anders Breivik, saying he ‘takes his hat off'’ to him as well as other statements made on Facebook.
It is confirmed that he has now been jailed.
We, at EDLReview have documented four similar cases from EDL supporters/Divisions. We would therefore, like the police to investigate on these people too. Cases are given here, here, here and here.

EDL Supporter Wants Another Anders Breivik
We’ve seen and reported about some English Defence League (EDL) members and Divisions sympathising with the Norway mass murderer Anders Breivik (i.e. here, here, here and here) who killed more than 70 people.
But again, we’ve caught another EDL supporter posting on the EDL’s Merseyside Division who says he agrees with Breivik’s terrorist actions and wants an ‘English version’ of him!

Breivik Emailed National Front’s Mayor Candidate
The Liverpool Echo reported that a Liverpool mayoral candidate Peter Tierney was on the distribution list for the manifesto of Norway mass murderer Anders Breivik.
They revealed that the email address of Tierney, who is standing for the far-right group National Front (NF), was included on Breivik’s list. But he refused to discuss why his address was on it.
The rhetoric these far-right groups have, appears to be quite similar. As we know, the Swedish Defence League (SDL) and the NF for example, have supported Nazi ideologies (here, here and here).

EDL ‘Founding Father’ May Have Inspired Breivik
Paul Ray, supposedly one of the ‘founding fathers’ of the English Defence League (EDL) who uses the nickname ‘Lionheart of England’, has denounced the actions of the Norway bomber, Anders Breivik, but has admitted his anti-Muslim views could have influenced the killer.
He told the Times,

It looks like that.’In his manifesto, Breivik describes attending a meeting of the extremist group Knights Templar in London in 2002, where he was given an ‘assigned mentor’ nicknamed ‘Richard (the Lionhearted)’.

EDL-Supporting Racist Threatened Bomb Attack
Back in April 2012, the Journal Live (and others) reported that a man named Kenny Holden from South Shields was arrested over allegations he accessed a social network site to threaten doing an “Oslo-style” bomb attack on innocent people (like the Norway bomber, Anders Breivik).
He had links to various English Defence League (EDL) Facebook pages and it is reported he also posted race-hate posts on there too.

Proof Anders Breivik Wrote On EDL Forum?
Various news agencies have reported that the Norway bomber, Anders Breivik, had English Defence League (EDL) links. They claim he regarded the EDL as a “blessing” on a public forum. Is it true? Here’s a snapshot that may prove he did.
From the live trial of Breivik, a witness attending the trial tweeted that Breivik smiled when the prosecutor asked if he called himself “Sigurd crusader” at a meeting in London. Strange...

EDL’s Roberta Moore Supports Breivik
Robert Moore has been a key figure at the English Defence League (EDL) but last summer she fell out with some of them. Nevertheless, here’s a comment she wrote about the 70+ victims of the Norway bomber, claiming they were not innocent.
She remains close to several of the leading figures and others like Alan Ayling. As seen in a video below, she walks alongside the EDL leader, Tommy Robinson.

Shocking: Breivik Gets Thousands Of Fanmail
We’ve already documented a Brit racist with English Defence League (EDL) ties, who supported the actions of Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik (here). But it seems there are many more who support his actions across Europe.
Reportedly, Breivik receives thousands of letters a month from fans and fanatics, including those supposedly from the EDL. The Sunday Mirror revealed prison chiefs in Norway have had to assign five guards to handle the fanmail.
Without a doubt, this displays the dangerous influence of the far-right and that many are supporting the activities of a right-wing terrorist who killed more than 70 people. The EDL’s Jewish Defence League also seemed to sympathise too.

Senior EDL Member Tells All About Breivik Links
The Daily Telegraph has published a well-written article highlighting the ‘links’ the Norway bomber, Anders Breivik, had with the English Defence League (EDL).
It can be revealed that a senior member of the EDL however, who spoke to the Daily Telegraph on condition of anonymity, said he understood Breivik had met EDL leaders when he came to Britain to hear anti-Islamic politician Geert Wilders speak in London last year. He also claimed Breivik spoke to him a few times.
Quote: “I remember he [Breivik] was on Facebook saying that he felt he had to come over. Maybe he thought it was the only chance he’d get to come to a big demo… He was obviously in contact with some of us.”

BNP/EDL-Supporting Brit Racist Supported Breivik
The Sun reported that a man with links to the English Defence League (EDL) was quizzed over his support for the Norway bomber, Anders Breivik, who slaughtered 77 innocent people.

Of course it’s wrong to kill children, but if he had to do it that way to get his point across, so be it.”The man said he has attended EDL events and had a BNP newsletter subscription.

The EDL Were Wrong About Anders Breivik
After Anders Breivik, the Norway bomber, caused mass devastation in Oslo, far-right groups such as the English Defence League (EDL) were trying to distance themselves from him after claims were being made about links.
The EDL published an article, describing the terrorist incident as a case of ‘lone wolf terrorism’. Below is a snippet.
But as a recent event has showed us, the writer was wrong.
News around the world reported of a man from the Czech Republic who wanted to carry out a ‘copycat’ atrocity similar to the style of Breivik. Found at his flat was a remote-controlled detonator, about 400 ammunition rounds, police uniforms and masks. The man, who had five convictions, was charged with unlawful possession of weapons and endangering the public. Luckily, his plan was foiled.
As we can see, the EDL tried steering away from the issue of far-right extremism and terrorism, describing it as ‘lone wolf terrorism’. It wasn’t, and this further proves that the far-right Islamophobic influence is/can be, a threat to our society.
European police agency Europol stated the threat of violent right-wing extremism ‘has reached new levels in Europe and should not be underestimated.’ It also very strange that many far-right supporters have sympathetic views to using violence or conflict, as a report published by the thinktank Chatham House discovered.

Swedish Defence League: Nazism, Sick Jokes And Far-Right Links
The Swedish Defence League (SDL) is practically the cousin of the English Defence League (EDL) and they are both good affiliates.
Nazi links and ideologies
In 2008, the SDL’s leader, Isak Nygren, attempted to join the neo-Nazi Nordiska Förbundet but then joined another group instead. It is reported that along with other remarks, he posted on an online forum that he is against ‘race mixing’.
The Stockholm Division of the SDL see him as a visionary and posted a photo of him alongside Nazi Germany’s propagandist Joseph Goebbels, declaring that Nygren is the ‘reincarnation’ of a ‘great man’.
Richard Abrams is another leading member of the SDL who is known to hold extremist views. It is reported that on his website, he wrote,
The SDL’s Stockholm Division posted a sick meme joke of Anders Breivik weeping, stating that the reason for his tears was that he ran out of bullets.
Links with other far-right groups and the Islamophobia network
The EDL and SDL both appeared side-by-side at the floppy ‘Counter-Jihad Initiative’ in Sweden (a targeting initiative in disguise), alongside other Defence Leagues.
We also saw familiar far-right faces at this event. This included fake Islamic scholar Robert Spencer who has been cited more than 50 times by the Norway bomber, and Pamela Geller, who received an extremist email on her website that remains uninvestigated.

EDL Leader Shows Support For Knights Templar?
With Norway bomber and far-right terrorist Anders Breivik who murdered more than 70 people in Norway just having been sentenced, it would be wise for the English Defence League (EDL) to distance themselves.
The EDL leader Tommy Robinson however, retweeted a status from an account that holds the name ‘Knights Templar’, the name of an extremist group that Anders Breivik was part of.
This account had a previous account that was banned because it posted up a picture of a United Kingdom flag with guns and ammo on top (glorifying violence?)
The admin advocates the burning of Qurans. It also supports the death of MP George Galloway, like the admin(s) of the EDL-affiliates South Yorkshire Infidels.
Note: Proof of cited behaviour is on the current profile.

Report Says Most Far-Right Supporters Agree With Violence
According to a report published by the thinktank Chatham House, significant numbers of far-right supporters in the UK consider violence and “armed conflict” a legitimate form of political expression.
The report polled 2,152 far-right supporters from membership of a mainstream rightwing party to far-right terrorist, they raised concerns that the path of extremism (followed by the Norway bomber Anders Breivik) should be considered a possibility.
This report has been covered by the Guardian newspaper.
More seriously, another report released in August by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START), showed that murders carried out by right-wing extremist groups have been on the rise recently, nearly doubling since the mid-2000s.

Breivik Manifesto Review: SIOE
Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik killed more than 70 people and was a right-wing extremist. An interesting case to point out is who was mentioned in his manifesto, and who perhaps inspired him. Here, we take a close look at the manifesto and highlight the English Defence League (EDL) and its affiliates.
