A family barricaded themselves inside their Dewsbury home as a neighbour armed with knives threatened to kill them, a court heard just recently. EDL supporter Daniel Smith is said to have shouted racist abuse and EDL slogans as he smashed his way into their home.
A man of the household was cut on his arm. The other family members were threatened by the supporter and were told they’d be killed one by one.
Leeds Crown Court heard the attack on the 26th August 2011 and jurors saw mobile phone footage of him banging at the door and making threats.
