Bad Results: EDL In Keighley And Bradford

The English Defence League (EDL) went to Keighley and Bradford to stir up trouble yesterday (04/08/12). They didn’t have a good day, with numbers relatively low and a failure to do the very thing they started up to do. A former MP said,

Quote: “Most people who care about Keighley and the people who live there – both Asian and white – would ask them not to come. They are not going to do any good. In fact, they are going to do a great deal of harm.”

Likewise, they did.

What happened during the EDL’s travels yesterday

• Members of the EDL argued and fought against eachother
• A female EDL member was arrested for an unprovoked assault on an innocent Asian man who happened to be on the scene

• Members of the EDL threatened and wanted to bomb a mosque (that had nothing to do with anything) (Pictures are available online)
• EDL supporters used offensive language, even speakers for example, calling Muslims 'Muzzies'
• Reports find that an old man was doing sieg heil salutes to everyone in the Bradford City Centre
• EDL affiliates Casuals United lied about the incident

EDL affiliates, the Casuals United, lied about events

The Casuals United blog have lied in the past. And this time (probably seeing how bad the EDL demo went), they decided to turn it round. They claimed that around ‘300 Muslims and converts’ were ‘burning flags’.

But there have been no pictures, reports, police statements or media accounts for us to even believe this! So this is a deceiving lie. If anyone can give evidence, please write in the comment box.
