Walthamstow has faced the likes of the fascist right-wing group English Defence League (EDL) today. It hasn’t been too good for the EDL, and our predictions of the EDL being outnumbered by the anti-EDL community were right.
There have been more than three arrests so far, and bottles have also been thrown by EDL supporters at locals. One EDL supporter has even called one reporter a ‘paedophile’.
