The topic of grooming is certainly a serious issue, but it’s not an Islamic one, so the argument carries little weight. Also, the religion of the rapists and abusers are not significant. As we know, Islam forbids and condemns pre-marital sex and rape so again, Tommy’s statement carries hardly any weight.
Contradictions and generalizations
Tommy also contradicts the statements he’s made in previous interviews saying ‘Islam is not a race’. He also generalizes and accuses ALL Muslims for failing to integrate. This is not the first time he has put all Muslims in one bubble. Click here for his speech at a protest at Tower Hamlets where he threatens every British Muslim living in the UK.
