But even more, they've been misleading their readers about the recent arrests on the M1 about the terror suspects who had weapons in their car.
Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer mislead readers
Pamela Geller. |
Pamela Geller wrote about the terror plot to 'target an EDL rally'. She wrote:
Quote: “COUNTER-JIHAD EDL RALLY TARGETED FOR ISLAMIC BOMB ATTACK IN LATEST UK TERROR PLOT, MASS MURDER AVERTED”Robert Spencer (Pamela's close friend), the fake scholar regurgitated it,
Quote: “Jihad terrorists targeted EDL demonstration: It has come to light that the latest spate of arrests of jihad terrorists in the UK prevented them from committing jihad mass murder at an EDL demo.”

But the terror plot to target the EDL is not conclusive!
The Mirror reported (07/07/12),
Quote: ‘Counter-terror police were yesterday investigating whether two men found with a bomb in their car were on their way to attack an English Defence League rally.’So we have NOT been told if this is true and no official source has confirmed it to be true. So Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer are twisting things and making quick assumptions.
If true, the police say these Islamophobes are feeding the extremism!
The BBC reported (19/11/10),
Quote: ‘Right-wing groups like the English Defence League are turning parts of Britain into recruiting grounds for Islamic extremists, police have said.’These right-wing Islamophobes are feeding extremism!
Pamela Geller makes no sense - Is she lying?
Quote: “Tommy Robinson called me yesterday with the grave news that Scotland Yard had advised him that the EDL had been the intended target of a Taliban-style bombing. It is the first time such an improvised explosive device – used by Taliban insurgents to kill British troops in Afghanistan – has been found in the UK.”But this doesn’t make sense, because:
- Why hasn’t any of the British press received any of this information about the EDL rally being targeted? They haven't, because Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller are making assumptions.
- Surely, this is not the first improvised explosive device to be found in the UK.
Of course, the EDL will be attending the 'Worldwide Counter-Jihad Initiative', so it makes perfect sense that these two are sticking up for their allies.
