The EDL Threatens English ‘Way Of Life’

We often here the English Defence League (EDL) and other affiliates barking on about how Islam is taking over the English ‘way of life’, even though it’s dramatically over-exaggerated and the gullible fall for it...

But has anyone thought that the EDL is threatening the English ‘way of life’?

Just think for a second, how much has England suffered from the EDL? Violence on streets, arrests, racism, public order offences, discrimination, hooliganism, links with neo-Nazism, heightened tension between communities?

If this isn’t enough, it’s the influence of far-right fascism, the very thing that English soldiers and veterans fought against during the World Wars, that is a threat. This fascism is being fed through the EDL’s network into its supporters who think they are being patriotic standing up for the country… when as a matter of fact, are only helping Britain become worse.

How is the EDL making Britain worse? Socially, economically and financially. And even more, it hasn’t done anything positive for Britain ever since it began. So for these reasons, the EDL is making Britain move backwards, and is threatened the English way of life.

One thing is for sure, the English way of life isn’t about discrimination and hate. It’s about living together, coexisting and working for a better society.
