More Vandalism From Presumed EDL Members

A mosque in Pleasington, Blackburn has been vandalised and fingers are being pointed to far-right English Defence League (EDL) supporters.

The mosque has been daubed with graffiti that reads “Islam pedos” and “Islam murders scum” as well as the “EDL” initials.

Hate-crime against the Muslim community has been on a high in the UK, after the tragic Woolwich murder by two extremists. Previously, we recounted how anti-Muslim graffiti was daubed over a bridge in Mitcham Junction station, London (here).

The EDL and other far-right groups have been criticised for capitalising and hijacking the murder to further their agenda and stir up tensions within the British community.
